Tesla

The Tesla - All Electric Car

The Tesla Roadster produces one-tenth of the pollution and is six times as efficient as the best sports car. 0 to 60 in about 4 seconds. Over 130 mph over 130 mile range on one charge. Useful battery life in excess of 100,000 miles. Full charge in 3-4 hours. With your electrical company’s incentive pricing factored in, it will cost you roughly 1 cent per mile to drive the Tesla Roadster, vs. 17.5 cents per mile at $3.50/gallon gas.

This site is dedicated to saving the planet earth and reducing energy usage. Here you will find out about saving energy and reducing pollution.

You want to save energy? Here are some simple things Dawna and I did to reduce our energy at home:

  1. Limit the use of our dryer. Dry clothes on clothes line in the summer and indoors on clothes rack in the winter.
  2. Instead of using the our central heating to warm up the house in the evenings after work, we simply use our gas heater that heats the living room and kitchen/dinning area.
  3. Install florescent lights. We didn't like them for all areas.
  4. Check our local watering requirements on line to determine weekly outside watering needs and adjusting our sprinklers control to this limit.
  5. Turn down hot water temperature.
  6. Use BBQ more in the summer.
  7. Check air in auto tires to make sure they are correct once a month.
  8. Clean your central air filter yearly. It takes more poser to push air through a dirty filter.
  9. Not for your home, but will save you automobile gas! Check your tire air pressure. You will be amazed at the increased gas mileage.
